Resume and Portfolio for Victoria Ratcliffe

My name is Tori Ratcliffe.  Currently, I'm a stay-at-home mom with two boys, aged 9 and 7.  Now that they are both school aged, I'm looking to find a new, interesting position to keep me busy and motivated.  I'm not sure what I want that position to be, but I do know it has to be something I believe in and want to learn more about.  I do not apply to places that have not peaked my curiousity in some way.

Most of my experience is in the veterinary and human medical fields. I've utilized this knowledge to assist in creating educational materials (both written and illustrated) for surgeons, vet techs, and sales reps. I’ve worked with both PC and Mac platforms, using Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Corel product suites. I also spent a small amount of time using Maya, a CGI program, and made a few short medical animations with it.  I have used various other software programs too, but none so much as those I have listed. I am interested in a lot of things, as I find the world and everything in it to be a curiosity, and am willing to be trained as needed. I love to learn new software.

Previous pay ranged from $8 an hour to $48K at year. I'm not particularly concerned about what a starting wage will be - more that I will be happy and motivated in a long term position.  

When looking at my resume, I ask that you please, don't think I'm overqualified, or that a job may not hold my interest - please speak with me face to face first before you make that determination. You might be very surprised.

Here you will find a longer version of my resume, as I want to explain what I have been doing for the past several years beyond raising my kids.  Also, the job titles do not exactly explain all I am capable of. 

I am a Registered Veterinary Technician in the State of Ohio, and am still very interested in doing any kind of work with animals, even cleaning cages - as I have said I do not consider myself overqualified for anything, so long as the job fits me.  I'm also interested in science, health care, retail, writing, creative arts, helping others, and teaching - I do love to share knowledge and improve the lives of others if I can.

I was only able to dabble in this area, but I find it absolutely fascinating.  I would be very interested in doing this kind of work, in any small capacity, from modeling to designing textures and skins, to working as an administrative assistant.  There is such a world of wonder in CGI.
